Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan had made some statements in support of the Taliban. Imran Khan had called it a major victory after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan.

Former Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and Vice President Amarullah Saleh have also repeatedly criticized Pakistan. Pakistan has previously been accused of helping the Taliban. However, Pakistan had denied the allegations. After the Taliban seized power, Pakistan is now making statements in support of the Taliban.
