Sanju Samson fined Rs 24 lakh, and is possible to be banned for one match see reason

Delhi Capitals defeated Rajasthan Royals by 33 runs in the IPL 2021 match played at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Possibility of a one-match ban on Sanju
Strict rules have been laid down by the IPL committee for the slow over rate for this season. Sanju Samson had been fined earlier for this. Sanju was fined Rs 12 lakh for the first offense. If this is Rajasthan’s third mistake, Sanju could be banned for one match.

Delhi tops the table with 16 points

Delhi, led by Rishabh Pant, have their eighth win in 10 matches this season. With this victory, Delhi has topped the table with 16 points. For Rajasthan, Sanju Samson scored an unbeaten 70 off 53 balls. But he could not give his team a victory. Apart from him, only Mahipal Lomror was able to cross the double digits. After scoring 155, the Delhi bowlers controlled the Rajasthan batsmen from the start and took wickets at regular intervals. The Delhi Capitals scored 154 for six in 20 overs in their first innings.

Despite Samson’s unbeaten 70 in reply, Rajasthan Royals could only manage 121 for six in the allotted overs. This is Rajasthan’s fifth defeat in nine matches this season. With this, he has slipped to sixth position in the table.
