Rolls-Royce has officially entered the world of electric vehicles. The company has released a teaser picture of its first all-electric luxury car Rolls-Rouce Specter and has shown its first glimpse. It was announced on LinkedIn by Tosten Muller-Otvos, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

The company has not yet disclosed any technical details about the Rolls-Royce Specter electric car. But the electric luxury vehicle is likely to make a strong mark in an exclusive club of vehicles that cater to the needs of the rich and celebrities across the globe. And Specter will be just the beginning.

The company, which is known for making super luxury cars, is making a late entry in electric vehicles but it is believed that it can make its presence felt. According to the report, Specter can be launched in select markets by the year 2023. Let us inform that Rolls-Royce introduced the first electric concept based on the Phantom in the year 2011. In 2016, Rolls-Royce showcased a concept car called the Vision Next 100, which was fully electric and equipped with autonomous features.

With plans for a major entry into the world of electric mobility, the Rolls-Royce Specter e-car will play a central role in ushering in a new era for the nearly 115-year-old British automobile giant.

Müller-Otvos said, “I made a public promise on record that we would bring to market the first fully electric Rolls-Royce within the current decade. And, right now, our company is building the first of its kind, super-luxury car.” For starting a historic undertaking.”
