There were 223 deaths in UK on Tuesday, the highest number since March this year, according to official figures.
Meanwhile, 43,738 new patients were registered. The biggest reason for this is believed to be AY.4.2, the new version of Delta in the UK. The UK Department of Health has held the new variant responsible for the spread of the new case and asked it to be evaluated.
