IND VS PAK: Pakistan Won for the first time, shame for India to lose to Pakistan

For the first time in the history of the World Cup, India was defeated by Pakistan. So far, the Indian team has never lost to Pakistan in ODIs and Twenty20 World Cups. But under the leadership of Virat Kohli, this tradition of victory did not last. India had challenged Pakistan for a 152-run victory. But the Pakistani batsmen easily took up the challenge and changed history.

India had scored 151 runs in the first innings. But the Pakistan openers were seen to have ruined the Indian bowling. Pakistan’s Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan slammed the Indian bowlers and forced them to bow down in front of them. It was Babar and Rizwan who helped Pakistan win. Earlier, Pakistan’s fast bowler Shaheen Afridi had given a double blow to India by dismissing both the openers in quick succession. From this shock, Virat Kohli tried to take the team out by scoring a half century. Virat hit 57 off 49 balls with five fours and a six. Along with Rishabh Pant, Kohli also shared a half-century partnership for the fifth wicket.

That is why the Indian team was able to score 151 runs. But the score was not challenging for Pakistan. Because Pakistan’s openers Babar and Rizwan completed half-centuries and hit the Indian bowling hard. So Pakistan could easily win this match. The Indian bowlers failed to get Babar and Rizwan out in quick succession.

The Indian bowlers did well in the practice matches. But Jaspreet Bumra, Mohammad Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar did not bowl well in this match. In the first power play, all three failed to get wickets and this was the biggest blow to the Indian team. Babar and Rizwan forced India’s bowling to kneel before them and gave Sandha the victory.
