Apple Autonomous car: Apple will launch Electric Car by the end of 2025

There has been a lot of speculation about Apple’s driverless autonomous electric car. According to people familiar with the matter, Apple Inc. is focusing on developing its electric car and is working on plans to launch the car soon with full self-driving capabilities.

Apple’s Project Titan has been in the headlines for a long time. Over the years, Apple’s car team has simultaneously explored two paths – creating a model with limited self-driving capabilities focused on the steering and accelerator, in many existing cars or a version with full self-driving capability that No human intervention is required.

Apple has once again relied on Kevin Lynch to lead its new project Titan. Kevin Lynch led Apple Watch software development. Engineers led by Kevin Lynch are now focusing on the second option.

Lynch is pushing for a car with a full self-driving system for the first version of the Apple car. This information has been provided by some people associated with the project on condition of anonymity, as the discussions are private.

The change in leadership is the latest in a series of changes to Apple’s exclusive project group. Internally, Apple is targeting the launch of its self-driving car in 2025. However, this deadline may change, and the company may choose to issue a vehicle without full autonomous capabilities until then.

Tesla Inc., the market leader in electric vehicles, is probably still years away from offering fully autonomous cars. Alphabet Inc.’s Wyomo has suffered a setback in its efforts to develop the technology. And Uber Technologies Inc. agreed to sell its autonomous-driving division last year.

In the midst of all this, Apple is internally aiming to launch its self-driving car in four years, faster than the five- to seven-year period that some engineers had planned earlier this year. But the deadline is not fixed, and meeting the 2025 target depends on the company’s ability to complete its self-driving system. If Apple fails to reach its target, it may either delay the launch of its car or launch a low-tech car initially.
