India Coronavirus: Five times increase in Corona patients in one week

On December 26, 6,531 people were infected with corona in the country.

Corona infections are on the rise in the country. In the last two weeks of December, the number of new corona patients averaged 6,500 a day.

The same number was 33,750 on Sunday. This is the highest number of patients after about 107 days. In the week till January 2, an average of 18,000 corona patients were found per day. This is the first time since October 12 that the number has averaged seven days a week.

On December 26, 6,531 people were infected with corona in the country. Since then, the number has quadrupled to more than 33,000 corona patients.

In India, 33,750 corona patients were found on Sunday. During the day, 10 thousand 846 people were released from the corona. Reassuringly, the death toll is lower than on Saturday. In the last 24 hours, 123 people have died.

At present there are 1 lakh 45 thousand 582 active patients in the country. 3 crore 42 lakh 95 thousand 407 people have overcome Corona. So far 4 lakh 81 thousand 893 people have lost their lives due to corona in India.

After two and a half months, the number of corona patients has increased so much. The rate at which corona patients are growing is alarming. During the week of December 25, an average of 6,641 corona patients were found for seven days. So within a week there was a big increase in the infection.

More than 30,000 patients were found on Sunday. That’s five times more patients in a single day this week than last week. If the number of corona patients continues to rise, it is feared that the number of corona patients will increase further in the coming weeks.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has also said that omicron is spreading faster than delta. Coronavirus re-infection can also occur in people who have been vaccinated and who have had coronary heart disease. In the week of December 27 to January 2, 1 lakh 30 thousand patients were found in India. This is the highest number of patients in the last 12 weeks.
