At the same time, 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage can be purchased for Rs 15,999. Until a few days ago, Poco M3 Pro 5G was the cheapest 5G smartphone in India, but now Redmi Note 10T 5G has been introduced at the same price. Poco M3 Pro 5G Let’s know in the review how is this smartphone?

Poco M3 Pro 5G Review: Design
The design of Poco M3 Pro 5G is different in its portfolio. There is a camera on the back panel and a large logo below it. The back panel and frame are plastic but the finishing is so strong that one can be deceived. The finishing is glassy, due to which fingerprints come faster, although the company has given a back cover with the box. The fingerprint sensor is in the power button. Below the top are two speakers. At the bottom is the Type-C charging port. The headphone jack is on the top. The phone is not heavy and there is no problem in using it with one hand. Overall, it will be called a phone with a good design.

Poco M3 Pro 5G Review: Display
This phone has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. The resolution of the display is 90Hz. The color of the display is good and the maximum brightness is also fine, although at times the phone struggles to adjust the autobrightness. The display has Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Poco M3 Pro 5G Review: Performance
Poco M3 Pro 5G has Android 11 based MIUI 12. It has MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage. For graphics, Mali-G57 GPU has been given in it. LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage have been used in Poco M3 Pro 5G. The phone has MIUI 12.0.2 which is based on Android 11. The phone receives a lot of spam notifications which are disturbing. These notifications come from apps like GetApps, Music, Mi Credit, although you can uninstall some apps as well.

Poco M3 Pro 5G handles multitasking comfortably. There is no problem in switching apps. We haven’t had any lagging problems for about 20 days in continuous use. The 90Hz display helps a lot in scrolling. Dimension 700 processor gives great performance. Gaming performance is good and the phone does not heat up quickly. The display’s low brightness in outdoor is a bit irritating. Overall, this is a great 5G phone in its range in terms of performance.

Poco M3 Pro 5G Review: Camera
Poco M3 Pro 5G has a triple rear camera setup in which the primary lens is 48 megapixels. Its aperture is f/1.79. The second lens is a 2-megapixel macro and the third lens is a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone will get an 8 megapixel camera for selfie.

Apart from Night Mode, AI Camera, Movie Frame, Slow Motion Video and Macro Mode, AI Beauty Mode will also be available with the camera. The first thing is that like the Poco M3, the Poco M3 Pro 5G also does not have a wide angle lens.

The camera setup is largely the same as that of the Poco M3. Modes like Night, Pro, Portrait are available with the camera. With this camera you can record video at 1080 pixels. The camera clicks good and clear pictures in daylight but disturbs in low light.

Night mode has been given with the camera but it does not make any difference in the pictures. There is a lack of color in the pictures when there is little light. The macro shot is good but it also lacks color and the photo is not good in slightly low light. Portrait mode is good.

Poco M3 Pro 5G Review: Battery
Apart from AI Face Unlock, this Poco phone has a side mounted fingerprint sensor. For connectivity, it has Dual SIM, 5G, 4G, NFC, Dual Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Battery life of Poco M3 Pro 5G is good. You can watch HD video continuously for about 17-18 hours. After 10 hours of continuous hotspot on and watching videos for two-three hours, 25 percent battery is saved. Overall the battery life is said to be good, although it takes more than two hours to charge the phone, which is more for today’s market.

So overall Poco M3 Pro 5G will be called a good and affordable 5G smartphone in its price.
