Olympic medalist and international female badminton player Saina Nehwal, who brought laurels to the country in the game of badminton, reached Sangam city on Saturday.

She along with her husband worshiped Triveni Sangam with ritualistic chanting. After this, along with boating, he also visited Akshayvat and Mankameshwar temple from outside.

Badminton player Saina Nehwal reached Sangam by car with her husband Parupalli Kashyap at around 10 am on Saturday. There he first did the water of the Ganges. After this, worshiped on the banks of the holy stream of Ganga, Yamuna and the extinct Saraswati.

To fulfill his wishes, he offered coconut chunari to Maa Ganga. Saina Nehwal performed the aarti after the Ganga Puja under the leadership of Teerthpurohit Bholanath Tiwari. After this she left for boating in Gagan Nishad’s boat.

With her husband, after the middle stream of the confluence, she looked at the Akshayavat from the stream of Yamuna ahead of the fort ghat and prayed for some time in front of the roots of knowledge. Then she reached Saraswati Ghat of Yamuna by boat. There he saw Mankameshwar Mahadev from afar. Then she came back to the confluence. During this, he also took a selfie with the sailing team. Also took many memorable pictures. She stayed at the confluence for about an hour. After that she left with her husband.
